Fresh hot food- abundance of choices from the flavors of New Orleans! Best hush puppies ever! Catfish was so delicious! We had the buffet and it was so much food! Highly recommend! Casual dining.

We ate buffet. A pretty good selection. I had the etufe, catfish, blackened fish and pork chops, fried catfish, fried chicken, frog legs, Mac and cheese. My favorite was catfish, they brought you a fresh plate to your table. The owner was super nice, Did not charge my Uncle for a tea. The buffet was 20. I thought that was reasonable considering the amount of different meat and seafood available. Some may say that is too high, but you pay for what you get and with food prices sky high I understand. They got to make a living like everyone else.

Love this place! The food is absolutely AMAZING! The staff are top notch, so friendly and helpful! I HATE catfish but their catfish strips with tiger sauce I could live off that alone. Blackened chicken Alfredo, fresh salad, jambalaya, frog legs, gumbo and of course the outstanding bread pudding! I’m telling you if you’ve never been you should, you won’t be disappointed

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I never knew Cajun King existed but I went with my friend last night to try their catfish and the food and atmosphere was absolutely life changing. It’s crazy how much a plate of food can hug your soul. We were treated with kindness and the owner was absolutely amazing and was kind to every person who walked in the door. I couldn’t stop eating the food and almost ate a full pound of catfish in one sitting. When we were done, I was left with that feeling you get after finishing a large meal on Christmas with your family. I just felt super at home and ready to take a nap right there in the booth. I’m not kidding, this catfish changed my life. Cajun King is my new favorite restaurant. What a special place that reminds you that SOUL and LOVE are two incredibly important components needed for a happy life.

Great place. The shrimp was juicy yet crispy. I had the grilled chicken salad but ate a shrimp from friends plate. Best I’ve had in 66 years! Not spicy. I don’t do Cajun spices well. I don’t know about the rest of the food. It’s mostly fried.

My God! I almost gave up on finding flavor in Oklahoma. Insert Cajun King. Let's just say I almost cried at the multitude of flavors and spices. Usually, I eat all I can eat at restaurants to make it worth while. Here, I was upset my stomach couldn't take in more. EVERYTHING was AMAZING! And the music!!! A wonderful mixture of blues and soul. The owner was so kind and accommodating. All together, this was a whole experience. Will definitely be back.

Highly recommend! The people who run the place are some of the most down to earth people ever and the food is amazing. Closest thing to a home cooked meal you’ll get eating out. Everything is so flavorful & the sauce served with the fish is the best!

After reading some of the reviews- both good and not so good- I decided to give it a shot. Oh boy am I glad I did!! The food is absolutely delicious! I’m from the Deep South and grew up in Louisiana. I know what Soul-food is supposed to taste like and Cajun King nailed it! I was excited about the catfish and shrimp but the sides caught my attention first so I sampled a bit of each. I didn’t add anything- no salt, pepper or hot sauce- and they were perfect! The catfish is thin and crispy and they prepare it fresh for their customers. And the fried chicken was golden brown and crispy and juicy. A! I will definitely be back when I come to OKC!!
